
Muhammara Dip
Muhammara is a classic Middle Eastern dip made with roasted red peppers, walnuts, olive oil, and pomegranate molasses. It’s rich, slightly sweet, a little spicy, and perfect with warm bread or crackers.
Ingredients
- 4 roasted red peppers
- 1 cup walnuts
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp Zejd Sundried Tomato Paste
- 4 tbsp pomegranate molasses
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup Zejd Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Aleppo pepper
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt, to taste
For garnish:
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Pomegranate seeds
- A drizzle of Zejd Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
- Add roasted red peppers, walnuts, breadcrumbs, Zejd Sundried Tomato Paste, pomegranate molasses, garlic, Aleppo pepper, cayenne, cumin, and salt into a food processor.
- Blend until combined and slightly textured.
- While blending, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture becomes smooth but still thick.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and top with fresh parsley, pomegranate seeds, and a final drizzle of Zejd olive oil. Serve with warm pita, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
