Burrata with Marinated Cherry Tomatoes

Creamy burrata paired with juicy marinated cherry tomatoes and finished with Zejd Extra Virgin Olive Oil for a fresh, flavorful appetizer that's perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 250g cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 2 tbsp Zejd Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • 2 tbsp very finely diced red onion (about ½ small onion)

  • 2 tsp finely chopped fresh basil, plus extra leaves for garnish

  • 2 tsp finely chopped fresh parsley

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 fresh burrata

  • Toasted sourdough or crusty bread, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, red onion, basil, parsley, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Pour in the Zejd Extra Virgin Olive Oil and red wine vinegar, then gently toss until the tomatoes are evenly coated.

  3. Let the mixture marinate for 15–20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  4. Place the burrata in the center of a serving plate and spoon the marinated tomatoes around it, along with some of the flavorful juices.

  5. Finish with an extra drizzle of Zejd Extra Virgin Olive Oil and garnish with fresh basil leaves.

  6. Serve immediately with toasted sourdough or crusty bread.
