These Pistachio Kunafah Stuffed Dates are a delightful fusion of textures and flavors. INGREDIENTS
  • 12 large Medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ cup Zejd Pistachio Spread
  • 1 cup kunafah dough, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Zejd Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 tbsp crushed pistachios (for garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a bowl, toss the shredded kunafah with Zejd Extra Virgin Olive Oil until evenly coated.
  2. Toast the kunafah in a pan over medium heat, stirring frequently, until golden and crispy. Remove from heat.
  3. While still warm, mix the toasted kunafah with Zejd Pistachio Spread until well combined and slightly sticky.
  4. Gently open the pitted dates without splitting them completely.
  5. Fill each date with the pistachio-kunafah mixture, pressing gently to secure.
  6. Arrange the stuffed dates on a serving plate.
  7. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate and sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
  8. Let the chocolate set for a few minutes before serving.
